We have been going for over 42 years. We are based in Sedgefield, County Durham. We have the most fantastic fun and the odd adventure too!
We are aged between 7 and 10 years old and we are a member of Girlguiding UK which is the leading charity for women and young girls in the UK. It has travelled all over the globe with over 10 million members worldwide and over 535,000 in the UK! We provide the opportunity of giving girls a chance to try new things and discover new skills in a safe, girl-only environment. At Brownies girls can be themselves, have fun, build brilliant friendships, gain valuable life skills.
Lots of crafts involving hearts - can you think of any animals you could make from hearts?
We will be doing our Brownie Traditions badge so we will be singing old Brownie songs, learning about the union flag, making quizzes and more . . .
We will be making gifts (can't say here as it's a secret) for our mums/grannys/aunties/friends.
We will be working towards our Disability Awareness badge. Tonight will be investigating sign language and touch, smell and sound.
