Big Brownie Birthday Challenge – 1968 You
“Make or renew your promise in an unusual way. You could use sign language or another language, or write it on the beach in the sand or in the snow.”
We learnt sign language. We sat in a circle and each given was a sign language letter. We then read out the Brownie Promise and, letter by letter, we signed each word. It took a long time but we did it!
We then, in pairs, made the letters using our bodies.
