We have been so inspired by the recent Commonwealth Games that we thought we would hold our own games. We chose 4 countries, one per six (India, South Africa, Canada and India) and we had a number of ‘events’. We talked through the events and each six selected one of their Brownies to take part in each event.
Our events were: hula hooping (for the longest), skipping (first to 20), walking along a beam with a quoit balanced on our heads (quickest), throwing beanbags into a hoop (most in the hoop) and a ball relay race. Each six also made up their own events which included wheelbarrow races, dodgeball and more relay races.
