1968 World – Mexico

Big Brownie Birthday Challenge – 1968 World

“Brownies are friendly. Join in a unit meeting where the girls are finding out about Guides in other countries. Organise a game or teach a song from the country and have a party to celebrate a local holiday or festival”

Following on from a successful Thinking Day, we chose Mexico as our country to learn more about.  We learnt what Mexican Brownies are called (and Rainbows and Guides too) and their promise and law.  We  discussed Mexican festivals and finally we played a Mexican game – the piñata!

We had great fun bashing and whacking the piñata (and missing quite a lot of the time).

Here are the pictures to prove it.
