Continue reading →Read More And so the weather turns out nice and the Brownies head to the woods for a play. This is our annual BBQ and strawberry picking at Wynyard Woods. It’s a lovely evening but there are no strawberries this year so the shops come to the rescue and taste nearly as nice.

Read More On the 27th January 2014 we held our very own ‘Great Brownie Bake Off’. A couple of weeks earlier we brought recipe books along to our meeting and, in our Six, we chose what biscuits we would like to make.
Read More On 20th January 2014 we invited Sedgefield Squash club to come along to our Brownie meeting and show us how to play Squash. We had 4 different skills to learm and we played in our Sixes and had a chance to practice each skill.
Read More We held a district summer event where we went to Hardwick Park for the day. We joined the other Brownies, Rainbows and Guides in our District and we learnt bushcraft skills. We made shelters and we went pond dipping. The sun was shining and it was a fabulous day topped off with lots of parachute games.
